Our new “Hyacinth Girl” will hit your pilsner craving!
Hyacinth Girl is the first of our Spring seasonal lineup. It is a “SMASH” (Single Malt And Single Hop) beer, meaning that only one malt and one hop were used. The name is a reference to T. S. Eliot’s poem The Wasteland. Pouring pale gold with a fluffy white head, this beer presents a floral, green nose supported by moderate hop bitterness. It finishes clean with notes of freshly baked bread and a palate-cleansing bite. Pilsner is a difficult style to master due to its delicacy. Your mistakes are laid bare and cannot hide behind high bitterness or malt sweetness
