Poinciana ABQ is a small jazz group comprising of two college students looking to bring back the chamber jazz tradition of Ahmad Jamal’s early work. Sky Hatcher (piano) and Merritt Silfer (bass) play a wide selection of Jamal’s discography, honoring what made him become one of the greatest known piano players of the 20th century
