Madrid, New Mexico-based singer, songwriter, silversmith and longtime New Mexico creative Jerry Faires joins us at Beer Creek Brewing Company on Thursday, September 3.
Faires brings a deep American roots sensibility to his music, with songs that have traveled far beyond New Mexico. Among them is “Thank You, Mr. Martin,” also known as the “D-18 Song,” which became part of the acoustic and bluegrass songbook.
It’s the kind of music that fits naturally out here on the Turquoise Trail.
