New Mexico guitarist and composer Santana Garcia returns to Beer Creek for an evening of live music on the Turquoise Trail.
Born in El Paso and raised in Anthony, New Mexico, Garcia began playing guitar as a child and has developed a distinctive fingerstyle approach shaped by a wide range of influences. He credits Jim Croce as an important influence on his playing, alongside folk, country and Americana, while his earlier musical background also includes Midwest emo, punk and math rock.
Garcia was featured on KRWG Music Spotlight in 2026, where he talked about his musical roots, his evolution as a guitarist and the process behind his instrumental compositions.
